Mitosis

Mitosis is a process of cell division. Mitosis is a part of the cell cycle process by which chromosomes in a cell nucleus are separated into two identical sets of chromosomes, each in its own nucleus. It repares damage and make identical cells.

It has 4 stages:

Prophase-the chromosomes can be seen

metaphase- the chromosomes put in a line

anaphase - the chromosomes separate

telophase - the cells are complete and divide.

In abreviations PMAT.

Interphase is NOT a stage.
